Taiwan 2010

Stepped my foot on taiwan last Thursday and it was not as cold as I thought it would be. With my tummy empty waiting to be stuffed with Taiwan food. Checked into our hotel and here comes extra pounds…

Basically, this trip is mainly EAT, WALK, SEE, and SHOP……

EAT a lot

WALK exorbitantly – my leg nearly fell off from my body

SEE Taipei

SHOP, it’s a shopping heaven for Girl/Women

My stay, apart from the same sandwich + diff fruit juice, it was nice and comfy…..

Transport was 10 years ahead of where I m now. Efficiency level is tip top in Taipei City Centre. Slightly came back to Malaysia Standard when u head off to the outskirt…..

People was committed to their job, either they are the ticketing counter personnel to the roadside aunt selling street food…. All are also friendly…. Although u do seen to catch some fierce face on and off the roads at midnight. Yeah, I was still eating past midnight….. time was MAX spent…..

Convenient store were really really convenient. Its at every corner of the town……………………….every 2 mins walk, eh, there is another one…

Most food store don’t serve drinks…. They normally sells tongsui to go along with the food…. Or the food is soup based to begin with… so, for a malaysian, drink is a must after a drink, always bring a bottled water with you….

It was recommended not to travel without anyone who know Chinese…. Well, you wont get lost if u don’t know Chinese… but u will tend to left out a lot of interesting places/ food if u cant read any. I got my walking translator with me (WIFE). Hehehe…… Whats this? What that? Over a thousand times…….good wife, good wife….

Its almost 5 hours ride on a RED plane thru and fro…..u’ve got to pay to anything u want on the plane….. even watching the screen.. hahaha

At the end of the day… it’s a good experience and it’s a good coincidence that we bunk the 15th of CNY. A lot more ppl in temple and a lot more event going on………Nevertheless, all the above have a price to pay, physical and mental strength……

Be prepared…… if u r going Taiwan…………………………..
