Balik Kampung

Went back to wife hometown last weekend and I always try to make a trip to this DIM SUM place at Ayer Hitam – Johor. This shop is situated near the traffic light junction to Yong Peng after exiting Ayer Hitam toll. Their specialty is BIG PAU @ TAIPAU at only RM1.50 per pau. Very cheap. All dimsum there cost only RM1.+

Cant recall the name but its not the corner unit. It’s the one left to the local delicacies shop. Here are some photos….

One too Many

How many Jon do u see in the picture? That the most fun thing to look for when u visit a barber with front and back mirrors that will continuously duplicating your images till the limit of our eyesight.

Laze @ Bangsar Village's Espressamente Illy

My best friend BOY brought us to this place on 2 Sunday ago with 2 of our closest friend. It was after our Sunday badminton game and its time to rest and laze around and we ended up in this place. Nice place to hang out but the service is abit slow. Maybe its because SAM have to handle the whole corner with just another colleague of his. No prob with us, we just need to sit tight on the comfy rattan chair and enjoy our coffeeeeeeee…..

SIN KEE Hainanese Chicken Chop

My wife wanted to try the chicken chop from Sin Kee since she works so near the restaurant and she has never tried it before. One fine day and we stopped by the place for the famous chicken chop. Looks at the picture, what you see is what you get. Tasted normal and its too oily for a chicken chop. Price is definitely reasonable but we discovered another good dish from the place. The KOU LOU YOK rice. I would recommend it more than the chicken chop. Recently I’ve also visited the place again and do you remember the fried rice that they use the LAP CHEONG and Luncheon Meat??? It’s a definite yummy…… two thumbs up, 1 for the KOULOUYOK and 1 for the FRIED RICE

the upside down turtle

This is an ad from IKEA and you could not miss it on the way to the place where u park your car. Some may call it the resting turtle but the cross on the head shows that the turtle is beyond exhaustion. That’s what I felt too, every time I come to IKEA

It’s a compliment, not a comment… . ha
