Handphone battery cost > Car battery

I walked into SIS HTC shop in plaza berjaya and asked for a battery replacement. How much? RM220 for HTC 3600 battery!!!
It does cost more than my WAJA battery and its only 1/100 the size.
Anyhow, I do hope it lived up to its standard of reliability as everyone told me about. Initially i've bought a non genuine replacement battery from ebay but it didn't work up to my need. Sigh. Should have just bought the original from the beginning. I could have save abit of money and hassle

Handphone Dilemma

As my wife reminded me today, I’ve also notice that I’ve been changing phone every year and yet she is still hanging on with her K500i. I bought a K700i together when she got her K500i. Then I got a O2 Xphone 2 and it broke after a year or so. Next, I got myself a SE M600i and it was a change of interface of screen and the qwerty keypad. Well, it didn’t turn out so pretty after all and another year has passed, I’ve got to moved on…… and I got myself a SE P990i with touch screen and both numeric pad and qwerty keypad inside. 12 months passed and things starts to fail……sigh (happily). Next, I got myself a HTC 3600i (second hand) with the trade in of my old SE. Now, its 8 months…. and the battery is starting to give way… It cant bear my heavy usage capabilities on the phone and I got to look for power source to rejuvenate the juice at about 4pm…

I m now seeking for a new phone…

Please give me some guidance….. I m so used to my HTC and I don’t think I can cross borders ….. Nokia 5800 seems so tempting… haha

Jam @ Gombak

Today I left home at about 720am and I only reached Setapak at 820am. Sigh. What could our representative Wee Choo Keong do for us? Errant driver driving on the oppose lane, not waiting for traffic light queue and motorcyclist causing some jam here and there. I think we need a Policeman at the Diamond Square Traffic light and issue summons to those errant driver. Another cause is probably the constructions of the main road which also took years to complete. DO YOU KNOW HOW LONG WE HAVE BEEN STRUGGLING WITH THE BAD ROAD CONDITIONS?????????

Our Malaysian Gov, please look into this…. Thanks

Prima Setapak 2 toilet issue

The house toilets has been installed with some 200mm x 200mm white floor tiles. THIS IS VERY ACCIDENT PRONE. Whereby it’s very slippery when it’s wet. If you happen to be purchasing a unit there, my strong recommendation spend some money to change the floor tiles to something non slippery. I don’t know how much this will cost but its worth it of u intend to stay there yourself.

If some of you already did that, please advise me how much you have spend on it. thanks

Nokia 5800 Xpressmusic

I had my hands on a nokia 5800 and I was quite amaze with its touch screen capabilities. The touch screen is sensitive enough compare to my existing HTC and amazingly fast response. The interface of the touch screen mobile is also slightly different from all other nokia. Sound is crisp and come to think of it… it seems like love at first sight. . . .  hahahaha…..

Something that I cant figure out is to manage the 3G setting of the handset. Even Maxis website doesn’t have the setting to be sent to the phone.. . sigh…

It was my customers phone. At last he told me that it was one of the best nokia phone around for the current time being.

My Labuan Hotel - Victoria Hotel

My recent trip to Labuan was somehow more relaxing compare to my previous ones. This is mainly because I was forced to stay since my work only starts at 6pm and the “everyone can fly – AirAsia” planes has been reduced to only 1 in and 1 out of the island. Somehow, I ended up in Victoria Hotel after checking the locations of the hotels which is quite convenient and that’s the only PROS. Cons….. see the pics….
