Waja Air Con Compressor

2 days back when I was heading to fetch my wife from the LRT station, suddently my waja produces a “click klock and ting ting ting” sound from the engine compartment. At 1st, I thought that I hit some metal things and it somehow hit the body of the car. After a short moment, there were “yeeeee yeee yeeeeeee” sound coming from the front part of the car. Oh man, that must be something wrong with the car. While I m still in the car, moving on the highway, I turned off the Aircon and I notice that the sound stops. This is bad…….

When I reached the LRT station with my window opened, I got down just to make sure what is wrong. It was indeed a sound coming from the air con compressor. But the air con compressor is still working fine, whereby the wheel still locks up when the aircon is activated. Well, its better for me to turn It off before anything got worse….

The next day I takes the car to the nearby DENSO air con specialist. He checked and found that its really the compressor that has damaged and its BEYOND REPAIR…..

Sigh, this sounds like money is coming our from my pocket again………………………….

Had it fixed with a RECON DENSO compressor with an additional bracket bcos my original compressor was a PATCO. Its RM 645 (RM 80 for gas refill + RM50 for labour + 45 for 4GP belt + 470 for RECON Denso compressor). My wallet is bleeding again….. which will affect my tummy input imbalance throughout the month…. U know what I mean…. Hahaha

The pros – air con is working again, its activation and deactivation was much smoother…..

The cons – it seems not as cold as the previous PATCO compressor, + excessive bleeding from my wallet……
